As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs and workshops for the community, which include educators, community members, and other stakeholders.
Your role is critical in ensuring that the community have the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in their fields and that our resource center meets its goals. Here is what you can expect from your new role:
Developing and Delivering Training Programs and Workshops
Your primary responsibility as a Training Officer will be to design and deliver training programs and workshops for the community. These programs will be designed to enhance their knowledge and skills in areas related to education and other fields.
You will work closely with our Resource Center Programs Manager to identify training needs and develop training programs that support the goals of the resource center. You will also work with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training programs and workshops on a wide range of topics related to education and related fields. Here are you major responsibilities:
Conducting Needs Assessments and Maintaining Training Materials
To ensure that our training programs are effective and meet the needs of the community, you will conduct needs assessments to determine the training needs and adjust training programs as needed to meet those needs. You will also develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, participant guides, and other materials necessary to support the delivery of training programs.
Conducting Training Sessions and Building Relationships with Key Communities
You will conduct training sessions and workshops for our community partners and evaluate their effectiveness through feedback from participants and other measures. You will also build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, schools, and other partners, to ensure that training programs meet their needs.
Staying Up-to-Date on Latest Research, Trends, and Best Practices
As a Training Officer, you will stay up-to-date on the latest research, trends, and best practices in education and related fields and incorporate this information into training programs and workshops.
Assisting in Developing and Managing Budgets
You will assist the Resource Center Manager in developing and managing budgets for training programs and workshops.
Qualifications
To be successful in your new role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, and Development, or a related field, and a substantial experience in a similar role, developing, implementing, and delivering training programs and workshops in an educational or training setting.
You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with communities, including staff, partners, and customers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as knowledge related to the development and delivery of training programs, are also necessary. Additionally, proficiency in the use of technology, including software and equipment used in training programs, is essential.
